520 b영문초록 : The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of learning according to types of the button interface in CAI courseware. The specific problems set up for this investigation were as follow. First, are there any difference between the group using button interface with text images and the other group using button interface with graphical images in the science achievement on CAI courseware? Second, are there any difference between the group using button interface with text images and the other group using button interface with graphical images in the science achievement by the level of school achievement on CAI courseware? Third, are there any difference between the group using button interface with text images and the other group using button interface with graphical images in the science achievement by the level of IQ on CAI courseware? The sample is two groups consist of twenty students each, One is the group using button interface with text images. The other is the group using button interface with graphical images. The developed program is CAI courseware designed for testing digest at elementary school level. The program was developed into two parts. One is the program using button interface with text images. The other is the program using button interface with graphical images. These two parts consist of same context except for different types of user interface. Three conclusion are made from this research. First, there are no difference between two groups in the science achievement on CAI courseware. Second, the type of button interface has a meaningful effect in the science achievement by the level of school achievement on CAI courseware. button interface with graphical images has effect on the leaners who are in the high class. But it has no effect on the leaners who are in the low class. Third, there are no difference between two groups in the science achievement by the level of IQ on CAI courseware. Finally, There are no remarkable results in this research except for effects of button interface with graphical images in the science achievement by the level of school achievement on CAI courseware. Therefore, we need more research about user interface on CAI courseware.
