영문초록 : This research examined the treatment possibility about pollution concentration of Tannery waste water having BOD 898mg/l, COD 719mg/l after first chemical coagulation treatment. The conclusion of experimental results are following: 1. At A - step: as Treatment condition operated HRT 6.0 ∼ 2.0 hr and F/M ratio 3.53 ∼ 10.33 kgBOD/kgMLSS.d obtained BOD removal efficiency 48.8 ∼ 32 % and COD removal efficiency 41.3 ∼ 35.3 % 2. At B - step: as treatment condition operated HRT 40 ∼ 13.3 hr and F/M ratio 0.07 ∼ 0.275 kgBOD/kgMLSS.d obtained BOD removal efficiency 88.6 ∼ 69.2 % In case of Treatment of tannery waste water by two - step Aeration system, when the A - step treatment condition operated HRT above 2hr F/M ratio below 6.4 kgBOD/kgMLSS.d and B - step treatment condition operated HRT above 30hr and below 0.1 kgBOD/kgMLSS.d, the result of research was proved that BOD removal efficiency representing with 93.3 % and effluent water quality obtains stable of below BOD 70mg/l. Simaltaneously, at this point of tannery waste water treatment, AB - process whole aeration tine is shorter than conventional extended aeration. As a result, it is possible for this process to maintain stable treatment efficiency, facility volume is small and construction and management operating cost are economic.
