영문초록 : After obtaining two different distribution of austenite, fibrous and dispersed structure, in the ferrite matrix by changing the heat treatment paths, the amount of austenite, growth process of austenite and tensile properties of Fe-22Cr-7Ni-3Mo duplex stainless steel were investigated. The obtained results from this experiment are summarized as follows. The precedure of austenite formation from ferrite single phase appeared : 1) formation of austenite film along the grain boundaries of ferrite. 2) growth of spike-like austenite from the ferrite grain boundaries to grain interiors. 3) formation of fine rump austenites in the vicinity of ferrite grain boundaries. 4) formation of rod - like austenite at the interior of ferrite grains. Austenite formed from ferrite single phase seemed to reach the paraequilibrium within 200 second and 100 second at 1100℃ and 1200℃ respectively. After reaching paraequilibrium, it is considered that the redistribution of Cr and Ni proceeded with increasing annealing time. The amount of austenite for the specimen with fibrous structure appeared to plenty compared to that of dispersed structure at, the same annealing time. The Strength and elongation for the specimen of fibrous structure was superior to that, of dispersed structure, with increasing ferrite content, the increase in yield strength for the specimen of fibrous structure was remarkable.
