520 b영문초록 : Ⅰ. Necessity and. Aim of study 1) Necessity of study Some Necessities of this study are like those ; First of all, to make the students (of girls' high School) have the true knowledge and Function of the recreation and when they are going into the society to make them have some responsibilities and duties as a democratic Citizen, also to make them feel a good effect of Life through a bright, happy, reasonable life and Contribute to the Society as a good Citizen . 2) Aim of study The aim of this study is in the following thing ; through the analysis, synthesis, estimation of Various kinds of matters brought in the rural students leisure activities, the school is going to seek and have some concrete methods about the life-guiding of good leisure -time, also the students can accomplish their growth of wide culture and their effective studying and their formations of public relation and their mental purity and opportunity of self-realization and stability of mind and sincere school-life Ⅱ. The results and consideration of study 1) Leisure time Th students' leisure-time on a normal day is about 2 hours and 50 minutes ,3 hours and 20 minutes on Saturday 5 hours and 30 minutes on Sunday. The leisure-time of a day is 12 percent of all time on a normal day. Because the students have their big traffic-time(10%) and house keeping(24%), which can be a character of the rural life. 2) Status of leisure activities ① Student's leisure activities at home show limits of enjoying the radio, TV or music" and "reading papers of magazines" It seems that they enjoy no more than the passive leisure activities dependent much on the masscom. ② A response to "going home immediately after class" shows 66 % It tells a large part of students doesn't participate in the extra-curricular activities of school. The extra-curricular activities are covered only "circle activity"(participating rate, 3%) and "enjoy sports" (participating rate, 3%) ③ The leisure activities of Saturday show that "to meet friends" (74%) and 'enjoying sports' or "circle activity"(participating rate, 11%} are the main activities. Those of Sunday show that to go hiking' (53%) and "to meet friends" (32%) are the main pans. ④ The leisure activities in the summer and winter vacations show various aspects In summer "going to seashore", "traveling" are involved. The contents of those activities are open to everybody active and constructive, and are different from those of school terms. In winter "visit places of natural beauty and historic interest" "reading" "traveling" "collecting and hobby" and "service activities", are involved. It is observed that such activities examined above consist chiefly of outdoor activities in the nature. Ⅲ. Conclusion 1) Response to the leisure activities ① most of rural community students spend their leisure time in the passive manner. But they don't feel so much interested in that; otherwise they are looking for the interests in such vigorous activities as climbing, sports, travel. And to the question what they hope under the circumstances permitted, first of all, travel is prevalent, and collecting- and hobby, climbing and sports. ② To the question of feeling pleasure in the leisure activities 44% of response is shown, and to that of gaining interests from the leisure activities 48% is responded. ③ The leisure activities are evaluated on the points of the psychological effects ; of the development of social characters as well as formation and improvement of human-relationship; of wise use of leisure time and of improving efficiency. ④ The negative response which couldn't expect to be provided with any interests is attributed to "spending much money"(42%), "not pleased with it'(11%), "not interested in it"(17%) 'making trouble in study"(13%). Answers to the question on the factors which impede leisure activities are "no money" (32%), "no spare time" (27%), "no equipments of facilities for the leisure activities" (27%), "no knowledge of method or skill for the leisure activities"(14%) 2) Evaluation of the leisure activities By the examination of such factors or causes impediments to the leisure activities following clues are found out ① They don't have any appropriate idea to use the time wisely ② These lacks in facilities for the leisure activities ③ They are lacking in knowledge, methods, skill, habitual attitude toward leisure activities. ④ They misunderstand that the leisure activities are the natural thing to be cost a great deal.
