The proposed CT glomerular filtration rate measurement achieved with CT measurement of renal clearance of iodinated contrast material was validated in this study and was proved more accurate than the technetium 99m diethylenetriaminepenta-acetic acid dynamic imaging Gates method despite slight (6.09%) systemic overestimation.
