This paper presents the intra-winding capacitance modeling for hybrid choke coil with reduced parasitic capacitance capable of the EMI attenuation in a wide range from the low-frequency band to the highfrequency band used in the EMI filter of LED-TV SMPS. Especially, the hybrid choke coil with reduced parasitic capacitance (Cp) by adopting the winding methods of rectangular copper wire, compared to the conventional common mode choke coil with the winding method of an automatic type. Finally, the hybrid choke coil with reduced parasitic capacitance proposed in this paper has been verified its feasibility and excellent performance through experiments on the possibility of EMI attenuation in a wide range from the low-frequency band to the high-frequency band.
