ABSTRACT: Nocardia nova is a less commonly isolated Nocardia species that was formerly classified as belonging to the Nocardia asteroides complex. This organism is a rare cause of primary cutaneous nocardiosis. We report a case of N. nova flexor tenosynovitis and abscess involving the right forearm after a remote inoculation injury.
