This study focuses on how `Korean education study' research related to Korean language education in Thailand has been carried out and aims to examine the research trends and suggest future research directions. For this purpose, in this study we collected a total of 134 papers on Korean language education for Thai learners published in Korea between 1989 and December 2022 by using a literature database. Next, the papers were examined in four areas: the year of publication, the researcher, the research method, and the research topic, and then the trend of research was examined by using the keyword network analysis method. Based on the results of the analysis, the suggestions are as follows. Firstly, it is desirable that a joint research by experts from the two countries will be actively carried out in the future, as well as more Thai researchers in Korean language education will be fostered. Secondly, considering the practicality of the corpus analysis method in the research method, we proposed that it can be applied and used as the main research method and auxiliary research method in future research. Thirdly, research on `translation' and `textbook development' is still lacking and needs to be conducted. (Kyung Hee University)
