Heidegger's research in Korea is so extensive that it is called Heidegger's phenomenon. Heidegger, a representative philosopher of 20th century existentialism, is the most elusive philosopher, but his influence is extensive. Heidegger has never called himself a political philosopher, but his work has a shadow of politics. And most people say that the political shadow of cooperation with the Nazis is dark and disturbing. During the colonial period, Joseon intellectuals clearly point out the political and practical limitations of Heidegger's philosophy. Japanese intellectuals have been studied in relation to modernity, ethics, and historical issues, but there is no paper actively discussing the issue of colonized Joseon intellectuals accepting Heidegger. This paper intends to discuss the discussion of colonized Joseon intellectuals who were critical of Heidegger only in their writings during the colonial period.
