Contrastive studies on Korean and Chinese mainly focus on a single grammatical unit or grammatical phenomenon, while daily conversations are mostly based on complete sentences. When conducting comparative research, it is necessary to consider not only the differences of individual grammatical units but also the information structure of the whole sentence. Focusing on the main constituent elements of information structure and the basic means of realizing the focus, the focus sentence-presentation sentence as the research object, this paper explores the relationship between the Korean ‘kea ida’ presentation sentence and the corresponding ‘shi......de’ presentation sentence the similarities and differences. Also, during comparing the process of marking the focus of the two sentences we also explored the correlation between the two at the information structure level.
