This research is to investigate consumptive conditions and action of Middle school girl student in Gwangju of Korea and Qingdao of China. We totally conducted 391 questionnaire surveys, including 198 copies in Korea and 193 copies in China.Korea girls started using the basic cosmetics from grade one of Middle school while Chinese girls started from grade two. Both of two groups consumed make up for first time from Middles school. What is more, the “skin care +BB cream” is the commonest style for Korea girls out of school, while no make-up appeared at the most frequency for Chinese girls out of school. When it comes to make up, the opinion that they can make people become beautiful showed more frequency at Korea girls than Chinese girls. Conversely, the viewpoint that make-up cannot match the status of Middle school student showed more frequency at Chinese girls than Korea girls. The reason of make-up giving gratification appeared more frequency at Korea than at China. When inspect manner of information acquisition, “Korea Middle schoolgirls got information from advertisement” appeared at most frequency. Contrarily, “Chinese Middle school girls acquired information form magazine” showed at most frequency. Taken together, it summarized characteristic of Korea and Chinese Middle school girls, aiming to provide meaningful basic data for revising the strategies of cosmetic market.
