This study was to assess the effects of tour guide on job burnout and turnover intention. The specific focus was on Chinese official tour guides in Busan. For this study, a total of 321 samples were carefully selected from Chinese tour guide from May to June, 2017. The result were as follows. First, among the sub-dimensions of emotional labor, surface acting and deep acting had the most significant effect on job burnout. Second, among the sub-dimensions of job burnout, emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, reduced personal accomplishment, that had all significant effect on turnover intention. Third, among the sub-dimensions of emotional labor, surface acting and deep acting, that had all significant effect on turnover intention. The suggestion on this study is that the emotional labor of Chinese official tour guides is an important antecedent job burnout. Furthermore, among these categories, job burnout is the most important antecedent of turnover intention. So business managers need to pay close attention to prevent emotional exhaustion.
