This study was conducted for the development of simulated CAI program for biological experiments of senior high school and its effect on learning process to solve some difficult problems encountered in the inquiring experiments which required a lot of efforts such as the lengthy preparation for experiments, long process of scientific inquiry and after-experiment arrangement. The simulated CAI programs were developed for biological experiments including 17 kinds of basic and 14 kinds of enrichment experiments. In the analysis of the effect of simulated CAI programs for biological experiments on such students` attitudes as interest, understanding and concern, the experimental group using CAI programs was more positive than the control group using traditional experimental method. In the verification of the effect of simulated CAI programs for biological experiment on learning attainment, the average score of experimental group(79.95) was higher than that of control group(67.68). In the survey of their response to the effect of simulated CAI programs for biological experiment on teaching, over 80% of the teachers appeared to be positive.
