The purpose of this study is to look into the pet food consumers' product selection attributes and their effect on purchase attitude, satisfaction, and repurchase intention and to analyze structural relationships using pet attachment as a control variable, reflecting the growth of the pet food industry that is constantly increasing in demand. Based on the analyzed data, this study aims to provide basic data for the related industry to improve strategy establishment and development and suggest future research direction. In order to establish the theoretical framework and concepts for the purpose of this study, the author utilized references and organized the questionnaire to be used as an analytical tool for this study, to be reviewed by relevant experts. A total of 468 effective samples were used to perform exploratory factor analysis to construct the sub-factors of each variable, and the reliability was calculated by Cronbach's Alpha. Based on this, confirmations factor analysis and correlation analysis were conducted to confirm the distinction between potential variables and to test the hypothesis, a structural equation model analss was conducted to determine the suitability of the research model and the path coefficients of the causal relationship between the factors. In addition, a multi-group analysis was performed to confirm the effect of the pet attachment, a control variable. The results of the study were as follows: First, the pet food selection attribute was classified into three sub-factors: quality trust, price, and preference, and purchase attitude was divided into recognition and emotional behavior. Satisfaction, repurchase intention, and pet attachment were identified as a single factor. Second, among the selection attributes, quality trust and preference were found to have a significantly positive (+) effect on recognition and emotional behavior, which are the overall factors of purchase attitude, while price has a significant positive (+) effect on emotional behavior.Third, among the selection attributes, quality trust, price, and preference were found to have a significant positive (+) effect on satisfaction. Fourth, only the quality trust factor among the selection attributes showed a significant positive (+) effect on the repurchase intention. Fifth, the group with a high degree of pet attachment showed a moderating effect between quality trust and emotion, price and recognition, price and emotional behavior, preference and emotional behavior, and preference and satisfaction among selective attributes. Lastly, the group with low pet attachment was found to have a moderating effect between quality trust and recognition as well as quality trust and satisfaction, preference and repurchase intention The findings of this study show that it verified the effect on the purchase attitude, satisfaction, and repurchase intention according to the pet food selection attribute. In addition, it verified the partial effect of pet attachment as a control variable.Based on these results, in order to secure the competitiveness of the pet food industry, it is necessary to develop technology and establish a marketing strategy by predicting consumer behavior based on various pet food selection attributes.
