" AI robots, self-driving cars, genetically engineered technology ... The world we live in today is full of 'hybrid' -- modern ways of thinking, however, which have treated nature, society and science as if they were in different places as separate as if they were in different places, turn a blind eye to many 'hybrid' things. “With the advent of a hyper-network connected to all elements, including humans, non-humans, and objects, Bruno Latour (1947-2022) insisted that the past straight-line system of time and space, which assumed that each element was physically fixed and separated, should be completely dismantled.Accordingly, Latour raises questions about the ever-changing world. A society that expands without restrictions, a rapidly developing science, nature that exists by itself, each heterogeneous element is thoroughly separated and contemplated whether the modern way of thinking, which is considered its own domain, is the right flow today, and criticized that any existence is meaningless in isolation. He revealed that what he saw while acquiring meaning in many variable relationships with other beings is the 'hybridity' of heterogeneous elements. Relational and dynamic differences unfold in such elements and processes, which are interrelated and mixed on a multidimensional plane. Latour named it 'Actor Network Theory (ANT)' to break down the boundaries that were thoroughly separated and constantly redefine the other by forming each other. With the advent of hyper-networks, society is no longer limited to one area, but focusing on relationships and focusing on multiple connections, breaking down each boundary and becoming entangled in each other's relationship, is similar to Latour's ANT structure. Actor network:ANT is a term that describes the new way of thinking proposed by Latour and was influenced by the rhizome of Gilles Deleuze (1925-1995). It means that it is possible to change itself in relation to various things, and it means that the differences of things, not one center, are connected to each other, so it can change in any direction, and the essence changes in the process of everything constantly changing due to the connection of external things. These continuous changes are prominent not only in the areas of art, culture, and society, but also in space. As different heterogeneous elements are fused and combined, the limitations of temporality and space that humans have are overcome. In the mixed time and space, various elements such as reality, virtual, media, human, and non-human are combined and detached, unfolding in the form of a new Hybrid Space It forms various relationships and continues to be created in an unpredictable place, and becomes an artistic value that cannot be interpreted as a fixed ideology in the modern space. It is thought that hybrid space, which always has the potential of transformation and change, away from fixed thinking will be a useful concept for analysis as a new art genre in the present time when it continues to diversify. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to first derive a concrete method for how each heterogeneous element in a Hyper Network sees, builds, and creates an open meaning based on Bruno Latour's Actor Network:ANT concept, in which all elements coexist on a horizontal relationship. In addition, it combines hybrid space, a paradigm of a new space that combines temporal, reality, and virtuality. It aims to break down predictable and isolated thinking and to open up infinite possibilities and extended values by overlapping existing meaning and new elements. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to break down uniformly isolated values in line with the hypernetwork era where everything is connected and to present the characteristics of the hybrid space of a new network ANT that is endlessly created through the repeated process of combining and separating fragmented elements. This study was conducted through an in-depth understanding of the concept of hypernetwork and various literatures and preceding studies related to the hybrid space, and the flow of the study is as follows. First, in Chapter 1, the background and purpose of this study were presented, and the scope and method were described. Afterwards, the differentiation and implications of this study were revealed through the analysis of related previous studies, and the overall development of the study was presented.Chapter 2 deals with the chapter of a relationship that extends beyond the constraints of all events, the concept of a hyper network, and the meaning and value of space that reflects it. After that, the concept was materialized based on Bruno Latour's thoughts by analyzing the actor network:ANT, which implies that the realm of different beings cannot be separated. After that, the significance of Bruno Latour's view of 'space' and the concept presented in the ANT theory were examined. Based on this, a new formative language was derived by analyzing how the ANT perspective of the hyper network is expressed in modern art through various cases.Chapter 3 examines the meaning and value of "Hybridity" in the hybrid world, which is created by repeatedly combining and detaching fragmented elements, and based on this, different art coexists in the space, the concept of a new artistic ideology, "Hybrid Space" was presented, and the significance was analyzed. The characteristics of "hybrid space" were derived based on this, and the characteristics of the hybrid space through the final hyper network were derived by connecting with the ANT element of the hyper network. In Chapter 4, the characteristics of hybrid spaces viewed as hyper-network characteristics were examined based on hybrid spaces shown in real and virtual spaces. We examined what value space the characteristics of hybrid spaces, in which different genres are mixed and overlapped beyond one area, are actually expressed to visitors, and through this, we examined whether they provide unforgettable unfamiliar experiences to people.Chapter 5 summarizes the research and summarizes the conclusions, describes the significance and limitations of this study, and presents the possibility and expected effects of subsequent studies. The case of hybrid space, which is the subject of analysis in this study, is assumed to be connected to a hyper network in which time and space are mixed and different beings are connected to form a relationship away from the fixed space. The research results of the hybrid space viewed through the hyper network are as follows.First, for the overall understanding of the hyper network, the elements were derived by examining and analyzing the metaphysical theory and relational space based on Bruno Latour's actor network:ANT theory. Based on this, it was summarized by examining whether modern art is expanded and expressed through the ANT element of the hyper network. By linking these two characteristics with each other, the ANT formative language of the hyper network was derived and summarized as "interrelationship of heterogeneous elements", "expandability of unknown space", "horizontality of mediating relationship", "multiple of transformational existence", and "dynamics of unfamiliar experiences".Second, in order to focus on the hybrid space, the change in perception of the flow of hybridity was investigated, and the concept and value of the hybridity of the diaspora and the post-colonial philosopher Homi Baba were examined. Afterwards, the concept and value of hybrid space were examined, and the expression characteristics of hybrid space were classified into space, time, shape, and genre, and the characteristics of hybrid space were analyzed to derive the characteristics of hybrid space into "interlayerality", "disintegration", "variability", "co-existence", and "disruptive". The final characteristics of this study are derived by linking the ANT formative language of the hyper-network and the characteristic elements of the hybrid space. As a result, the formative language of hybrid space seen through the hyper-network could be categorized into five main frames: "interoverlapping of fragmented existence," "multidimensional space-time dismantling," "symbiosis of horizontal relationships," "indefinite transformation of form," and "fluid perception through uncanny experiences."Third, in "inter-overlapping of fragmented beings," two or more different genres overlap each other to form a new network, and as the boundaries of each existence are constantly invaded and combined, the network of relationships of new genres appears endlessly. Through the combination of a culture that changes to "multidimensional space-time dismantling" and rapidly developing technology, the limited time and finite space constraints of humans are boldly dismantled to rearrange the flow of time and space. "Symbiosis of horizontal relationships" recognizes and accepts everyone's influence by recognizing each other as the same person, breaking away from the hierarchical order that distinguished each existence and each other's domain. The modern space constantly forms a social network and coexists in a hybrid space as different beings interact with each other. "Infinite transformation of disordered shapes" deviates from a fixed framework and creates a disturbing shape of space through experiences in various human situations, and as a result, the characteristics of space that change infinitely appear. Various experiences have shown that the shape of a space is non-predictive, informal, and has the potential for infinite transformation. In 'fluid perception through uncanny experiences', the combination of technological development and infinite imagination gives people new perceptions and emotions. It continues to provoke and collapse the boundary between reality and unreal, and engulfs the viewer in unfamiliar anxiety. At the same time, it provides an uncanny experience by inducing ambivalent emotions of familiarity and lowness, fascination and fear, conviction, and ambiguity in a moment.Fourth, based on the characteristics of the hybrid space seen through the hyper-network derived above, the relationship was empirically proved by examining the hybrid space where different genres were mixed and overlapped. By presenting a ritual space in which different genres overlap each other and the dimensions of reality and virtual are transformed, it was emphasized that the direction of the space that the modern era seeks to pursue is consistent with the characteristics of the hybrid space in the hyper-network era. In addition, it was intended to prove that hybrid space is a valid concept when applied to today's spatial expression. This study is meaningful by examining the present era of 'Hyper Network' in the specific Bruno Latour Actor Network:ANT language. It analyzes the expression characteristics of the Hybrid Space and presents a new perspective on this space in connection with the hyper network. Therefore, it is thought that this study can be used as a design methodology that is valuable to people. Finally, this study did not simply focus on analyzing hybrid spaces in which different beings were combined, but rather fused Bruno Latour's theory with art from the present social flow and background to explore the possibility of practical use for the paradigm of a new space. The connection between hyper-network and hybrid space is a new art genre needed in the future beyond the present and is expected to revitalize a sustainable space that contains the true value of the work.
