The aim of this study is to compare and analyze the load reduction effects related to the musculoskeletal system of workers on loading and unloading cargo through a user-hard evaluation of the currently operating general, low-floor, and newly developed EV low-floor trucks. In three types of vehicles (general, low-floor, EV low-floor vehicle) for 10 adult men without musculoskeletal disorders, 5kg of boxes were ordered in Zone 1, 2, and 3 and two tasks were performed. The lowest results were found in EV low-floor trucks, such as decreased muscle activity of the upper mitral muscle, decreased lambar/shoulder flexion angle, and the lowest scores of systemic and physical discomfort, but negative results were also derived, such as increased muscle activity of the spinal standing muscle and increased neck bending angle. In the case of disembarkation work, similar to the difference in EV low-floor vehicle work, the scores of shoulder/lambar bending angle, general discomfort and body discomfort were the lowest, but the results showed an increase in muscle activity of spinal standing muscles and neck/knee bending angle. As a result of the analysis of the cause of this disadvantage, the lower working posture due to the height of the cargo compartment of general and low-floor towers decreased the neck angle, but the higher back muscle activity due to the FRP (Flexion Relaxation Phenomenon) was expected to increase the muscle activity of EV low-floor towers. Finally, as a result of knee angle, it was expected that the difference in cargo compartment height affects the working posture, gait, and stride. Based on this, it is believed that it can be used as basic data when evaluating muscle burden and posture burden for actual delivery drivers.
