This study empirically investigate the mediating effect of self-leadership by confirming the structural relationship between professors' social support and career preparation behavior of college students in a non-face-to-face learning environment caused by COVID-19. To this end, the following research questions were set up in this study. First, how does the social support of professors affect the career preparation behavior of college students in a non-face-to-face learning environment? Second, what is the mediating effect of college student's self-leadership in the relationship between professors' social support and vocational college student's career preparation behavior? In order to verify the research questions, data were collected through an online survey of 250 2nd and 3rd undergraduates, where non -face-to-face classes were conducted after the spread of COVID- 19. As a result of the study, first, it was found that the professor's social support did not significantly affect the career preparation behavior of college students. Second, it was found that self-leadership had a complete mediating effect in the relationship between the professor's social support and the career preparation behavior of college students. As a result of the study, it was found that the self-leadership of college students plays an important role in order for the social support of professors to significantly affect the career preparation behavior of college students in a non-face-to-face learning environment. Through these analysis results, it was confirmed that the social support of professors can have a positive effect on improving the self-leadership of college students. In addition, in a non-face-to-face learning environment, the self-leadership of college students is a prerequisite for eliciting career preparation behavior, suggesting that it is important to strengthen self-leadership. The results of this study are significant in that they investigated the relationship between professors' social support, career preparation behavior, and self-leadership in a non-face-to-face learning environment after COVID-19. In a situation where the role of instructors in a non-face-to-face learning environment is becoming more important after COVID-19, it can be used as meaningful data for career guidance for college students.
