This report outlines the concept of mortgage insurance and the status of the premium calculation system, and introduces the mathematical process for calculating mortgage insurance premiums using option pricing models. First, a model for a single borrower is examined, and the model is expanded by decomposing the volatility of house prices into systematic and idiosyncratic factors by expanding it to multiple borrowers.
