This study is intended to develop a stage lighting program in street dance battle and classify the effect into immersion, satisfaction and respectating intention. To accomplish such goal, we developed a stage lighting program in street dance battle by collaborating four times with Hyuk-beom Jung who is a lighting director. The developed program had been experimented on 142 research participants, and the measuring variables for the effect were analyzed into immersion, satisfaction and respectating intention. Findings of this study are as follows. First, a program has been developed. Through design consulting with Hyuk-beom Jung who is a lighting director, we developed a stage lighting program with purpose, color and form for opening, judge performance, tournament, guest performance, announcement of winner and other lighting. Second, by analyzing the stage lighting effect in street dance battle and comparing the levels of immersion of a group that experienced stage lighting and a group that did not experience stage lighting, we found out that there were significant differences in levels of immersion depending on experience in stage lighting. As for the satisfaction of groups, there were significant differences in satisfaction rates of a group that experienced stage lighting and a group that did not experience stage lighting. Lastly, as for the respectating intentions of groups, there were significant differences in respectating intentions of a group that experienced stage lighting and a group that did not experience stage lighting. In conclusion of the above research findings, it is certain that stage lighting is an effective way of improving immersion, satisfaction and respectating intention of the audience of street dance battle. Also, since there have been no researches on improvement of immersion, satisfaction and respectating intention in Korea's street dance battle, this study is meaningful in suggesting the direction to experimental research related with improving immersion, satisfaction and respectating intention.
