Goseong Farming song contains the notes of mi-sol-la-si-do-re, and Yecheon Tongmyeong Farming song contains mi-sol-la-do-re. The Goseong Farming song shows the Maenaritori scale of the eastern folk songs as in Yecheon Tongmyeong Farming song, and the Yukjabaegitori scale of the folk songs from Jeolla-do. Based on the data analyzed through field survey, students were taught the long courses of the Farming song divided by stages. Applying the situation in everyday life, the students discussed and changed the situation on their own, changed the lyrics of the Farming songs, performed the results and provided diverse creative and convergence education. The class for making music plays by applying Farming song was organized with groups of members, goals based on achievement criteria, by-time learning subjects, music subject competency, learning contents, teaching methods, self-directed learning methods and course-centered assessment. The flow chart by teaching and learning time was composed of 12 times and was divided into introduction, development, and conclusion. Various expressions such as 'new experience', 'really good', 'help each other', 'interesting' and 'fun' appeared in the evaluation of Farming songs that students encountered in the course of their class activities. To make a musical play, they learned and performed each of the four levels of music including Mojjigi, Moshimgi, Nonmaegi and way-back-home. While making music plays, students came up with themes such as 'Clean Up Time' and 'Environmentalization of Classroom' during the daily lives that they could experience. Each groups decided situations and made musical plays. The students enjoyed singing and expressing themselves, felt awkward and different from the actual cleaning, then showed immersion as the music play progressed, doing their best in their roles to achieve harmony. Students participated in the class by taking part in creative activities such as setting the situation of music plays and making plots, selecting and changing the lyrics of music plays, and sharing the roles for preparation of music plays. Through these activities, passive students who were left out by classmates gained confidence, expressing his or her role and became active. They also thanked each other, learned the importance of cooperation, found a way to understand and resolve conflict and felt the reason to do their best in the role given. The 2015-revised curriculum focuses on fostering creative and blended talents who comprehensively understand experiences and knowledge in various fields and develop creative thinking to communicate with the world. To achieve this, making a musical play using Gyeongsang-do's Farming song is very meaningful in harmonizing personal and cooperative activities by understanding various cultures and values based on experience and fostering communicative skills. Also it is suitable as a creative, blended-type education method that shares experience and knowledge in various fields and improves critical and creative thinking skills.
