중국 다큐멘터리사진에 관한 연구-사진가 뤼난(吕楠) 사진집을 중심으로-중국에서는 문화대혁명이 끝난 후 정치적 이데올로기 홍보와는 별개로 개인과 민간 시각에서 중국의 하위계층 대중들의 생활을 주요 초점으로 맞춘 형식의 다큐멘터리 촬영이 발전하기 시작하였다. 중국이 개혁개방을 한 30년간 다큐멘터리 촬영은 하위계층 사람들의 삶의 모습을 일반 대중들에게 보여주었으며 이로써 중국사회의 발전을 촉진했다. 문예학과 미디어 분야에서 문화, 연극, 영화, 드라마, 뉴스 등 미디어 형식에 대한 연구는 변혁을 거친 중국 사회, 서민들의 이미지와 서민의식을 재현하였으며 이미 매우 큰 연구 성과를 거두었다. 하지만 시각적 영상에 대한 연구는 적으며, 사회의 가난한 서민들 일상생활을 다룬 다큐멘터리사진은 특히 드물었다. 또한, 이러한 유형의 다큐멘터리사진을 구현한 인간적 배려와 인문학 가치에 대한 연구도 적었다. 본 연구자는 뤼난의 사진작품집 을 주요 연구 대상으로 하였으며 중국 현대의 다큐멘터리사진 발전을 살펴보았다. 또한, 뤼난의 사진촬영에서 활용한 독특한 영상언어 및 중국 사회 변혁 속에서 정신질환자의 생존상태, 사진으로 보여준 정신질환자 내면의 정신상태를 분석하였다.뤼난의 다큐멘터리사진은 심리적 묘사 스타일로 중국 당대 다큐멘터리사진 계에서 독자적인 한 그룹을 형성하였다. 그는 영상으로 생동감 있게 정신질환자들의 세계를 표현하였으며 관람자들이 궁금해하는 다른 유형 사람들의 생활 세계를 보여주었다. 본 연구는 서론, 본론, 결론 3부분으로 나뉘며 6장으로 구성된다. 서론 부문의 연구 배경에서는 본 연구의 목표를 제시하였으며, 연구 방법에서는 본 연구의 핵심적인 문제인 본 연구를 하는 이유에 대해 제시하였다. 본론은 4장으로 구성된다. 제1장에서는 본 연구의 이론적 토대에 관해 설명하였으며 다큐멘터리 촬영의 역사부터 인문학의 발전과정, 개념에 대해 상세하게 논술을 하였다. 제2장에서는 인문학의 차원에서 다큐멘터리사진을 분석하였으며, 다큐멘터리사진의 인문학적 특징과 인문학적 가치를 설명하였다. 제3장에서는 뤼난의 다큐멘터리사진 특징과 촬영 수법에 대한 인문학 구성, 이렇게 두 가지 방면으로 인문학을 분석하였다. 제4장에서는 설문조사, 데이터 수집, 설문조사 결과 분석을 통해 이 논문의 결정적인 증거 부분을 얻어내었다. 이로써 뤼난의 이 사진작품이 인문학적 가치가 있음을 입증하였을 뿐만 아니라 일반 관람자들이 이러한 사진을 본 후 사진 속의 정신질환자를 도와주고 싶은 마음이 생길 수 있도록 하였다. 또한, 다른 측면에서 뤼난의 다큐멘터리사진이 확실히 사회 발전을 추진할 수 있고 일반 대중들의 관심이 필요한 정신질환자를 이러한 형태로 도와줄 수 있음을 보여주었다. 결론 부분에서는 중국의 다큐멘터리사진 촬영에 아직 미흡한 부분이 있고 발전단계 상태에 있으며 촬영 내용에 대한 구체적인 요구 및 촬영 소재를 통해서 인문적 가치를 향상하고 보완해야 하며 사진가들이 이것을 연구하고 개선해야 함을 설명하였다. 다큐멘터리사진의 진실성을 장악하는 기본적인 역사성과 인문학을 결합해야 한다. 다큐멘터리사진에서는 최대한 휴머니즘 정신과 사상을 보여줘야 한다. 또한, 영상을 통해서 하위계층 서민들의 생활 상태를 보여주고 인간적 배려와 도움이 필요하다는 것을 전달하여야 한다. 주요어: 다큐멘터리사진, 뤼난
After the Cultural Revolution in China, here emerged a photographic style which is different from the political ideological propaganda and paying attention to the daily life of the Chinese people at the bottom from an individual and a private perspective. That is the revival of documentary photography. In the more than 30 years since the Chinese society was transformed, documentary photography, through continuous attention to the civilian especially those at the bottom, fully represents the living conditions of such people in front of the general public, thus it indirectly promotes the development of Chinese society. In the fields of literary arts and media culture, media forms like literary analysis, drama, television and news have already had many influential research results on the transitional society in China, as well as on the reproduction of the image of civilian andcivilian consciousness. However, very few researches focus on the documentary photography from the visual images, especially living conditions of the poor people in the lowest level of the society, and study the deep humane care and humanistic values that such documentary photography shows. This article takes Lv Nan'sphotographic collection "The Forgotten Person" as the main research object, examining the development of contemporary documentary photography in China. The author analyzes his own image language used in video shooting, and shows the living conditions of the mentally ill in China’s social transformation and the mental state through the video. Lv Nan's photographic style reflecting internal world makes his work unique in contemporary documentary photography in China. He vividly expresses the world of the mentally-ill, and allows viewers to see the curious world of life of another kind of people. The research framework of the article consists of three parts in six chapters: introduction, text and conclusion. The research background of the introduction part proposes the goal of this study, and then puts forward the core issues in the research methods, that is why study the article. The text is divided into four chapters. The first chapter mainly explains the theoretical basis of this study and discusses the related concepts in detail from the history of documentary photography to the development of humanities. The second chapter analyzes the documentary photography from the perspective of humanities, and respectively points out the humanistic features and values. The third chapter analyzes Lv Nan's photographic collection "The Forgotten Person" from two aspects: the photography feature and the filming technique, humanistic composition and humanity. The fourth part finally draws the key evidence of this thesis through questionnaires, data collection, and analysis of the questionnaire results. It proves the humanistic value of this collection. And after the general audiences read these photos, they are indeed willing to help such people in the photos illustrating that his documentary photography can indeed promote social development and help those people who need the general public's attention. The conclusion shows that China's documentary photography is not fully mature, and only exists in the development of the groping stage. It needs to be improved and perfected both in the the specific content of the shooting requirements, and in the humanistic value of photography. On the basis of grasping the authenticity of documentary photography, the photography artists should combine historicity and humanity. They can manifest spiritual height and ideological realm of humanism in the works of documentary photography, and reveal the current situation of the people at the bottom by way of image transmission, and care for and help them with humanism.Key words: Documentary Photography, LV Nan, "The Forgotten Person", Humanities Composition, Humanities Analysis
