This paper investigates the investment-stock price sensitivity under various financial constraints. The key prediction is that stock price has a strong impact on the investment of financially constrained firms. Using issuer ratings, cash holding ratio and Chaebol criterion as financial constraints proxies, analyzed fifteen years KOSPI listed companies’ panel data. The results for the sample confirm the prediction and first hypothesis that investment-stock price sensitivity increase from unconstrained groups to constrained groups. In another words, when a firm financially constrained, the investment will be more sensitive to their own stock price dynamics.
