This study described with which method the grammatical category called 'causative(使動)' is realized, respectively, in Korean language and Chinese language that have different language style, and which meaning these realizing methods in each language indicate primarily, from the morphological, syntactic and semantic perspective, and examined difference and mutual correlation with causative category of each language in the functional relationship through comparison and contrast. A research, which was progressed in this study, is as follows. First, a writer accepts it based on definition called 'Tae(態:voice) that a causer allows causee to do any behavior or to be put in any situation' by Lee Ik-seop·Chae Wan(1999). This definition asserted that there should be these four compositional elements such as a causer of leading to causative case, a causee of performing Pisadong(被使動) behavior, causative case that causer gives directions to causee, and the consequence that a cause comes to do any behavior or to face any situation according to a causer's direction, in order to be established the causative. Second, in a method of realizing the causative, it analyzed by dividing the causative expression of Korean language into short-form causative, long-form causative, and lexical causative and by dividing the causative expression of Chinese language into syntactic causatives and lexical causative. Third, the components of performing function of the causative in the morphology were mainly discussed in the lexical structure. Both a causative verb, which was derived as the causative suffix in Korean language, and a causative verb, which was combined as the resultative complement structure in Chinese language, dominate even the syntactic sphere as well as the morphological combinatory relation. By the way, the causative suffix in Korean language performs only the function of the typical causative. However, the root, which performs the causative function in the resultative complement structure of Chinese language, indicates a meaning of causative, and also simultaneously functions even as substantial lexical meaning. And, as for realization of causative functional element(機能素), a case of Korean language is revealed hugely and externally. On the other hand, a case of Chinese language isn't almost existed a visual formal marker. Thus, the causative functional element(機能素) is inherent in causative verb. The causative functional element(機能素) in Korean language performs the function of external and pure causative. However, in case of Chinese language, the external and pure causative functional element(機能素) is implemented only ‘Sa(使), Ryeong(令).’ Fourth, in semantics, it described on the aspect of realizing predicative auxiliary, on the modifying scope of adverb, on the functional relationship between causer and causee, and on the features of causative verb. In the predicative auxiliary, it analyzed on tense, aspect, mood, and the aspect of being realized the subject honorific ‘-시-.’ The functional marker, which indicates tense and aspect in Chinese language, is mainly attached to the back of a predicate in the original leading sentence. However, in case of Korean language, it is attached to the back of auxiliary causative verb ‘하다.’ Mood in Chinese language is implemented as auxiliary verb. It can come only to the front of simple causative verb in causative sentence, but is attached to the back of huge auxiliary causative verb ‘하다’ in Korean language. ‘-시-’ in Korean language is available for honorific causer, honorific causee, and simultaneous honorific causer and causee in the syntactic causative. There is no formal honorific marker like ‘-시-’ in Chinese language. And the functional relationship between causer and causee was described by being divided into 3 kinds. Archetypal causer and causee allow only Yujeongche(有情體:creature of having consciousness), which has intention. In the non-principle relationship, the causer is Yujeongche(有情體). Causee is Mujeongche(無情體). Also, a causer is Mujeongche. A causee is Yujeongche. In the functional relationship between causer and causee, there is no formal distinction in case of Korean language. In case of Chinese language, ‘使’ causative is mainly shown Mujeongche(無情體) by causer and Yujeongche(有情體) by causee. And, ‘給’ causative and ‘叫’ causative can be shown the archetypal causer and causee. And the aspect of realizing causative verbs is different between Chinese language and Korean language. A causative verb in Korean language has intransitive verb, adjective, and transitive verb as the main verb of corresponding with it. However, a causative verb in Chinese language is existed only intransitive verb and adjective as the main verb of corresponding with it. The causative verb and the main verb in Korean language are corresponded one by one. However, in case of Chinese language, one main verb is corresponded with several causative verbs. Fifth, according to causer's domination and causee's performance ability, it is distinguished into direct causative and indirect causative, into forced causative and non-forced causative, and into demonstrative causative and controlled causative. As for whether a causer is involved in causee's action, it was divided into direct causative and indirect causative. In Korean language, the short-form causative indicates a meaning of direct causative. The long-form causative indicates a meaning of indirect causative. In Chinese language vocabulary, ‘給’ causative indicates a meaning of direct causative. ‘使’ causative, ‘叫’ causative, and ‘讓’ causative indicate a meaning of indirect causative. When causer and causee are indicated to be archetypal relationship, a causer's domination was divided into forced causative and non-forced causative according to strength and weakness. In Korean language, it is what is divided mainly according to the appearance of showing volitional adverb. In Chinese language, it is what is decided according to the function of simple causative verb. And, according to the causee's performance ability, the demonstrative causative and the controlled causative were divided. In Korean language, the demonstrative causative and the controlled causative are possible, but are not related to a type of realizing causative. In Chinese language, the syntactic causative indicates mainly the demonstrative causative. The lexical causative may thoroughly indicate the demonstrative causative and the controlled causative.
