The aim of this research is focusing on the customers who have ever been to this restaurant in the past, to demonstrate the effect of the number of past encounters with the organization and the number of alternatives on the customers' dissatisfaction with the service after consumption. Documentary research and empirical research have been done at the same time. We use the questionnaire to investigate the statistical properties of population and the frequency of eating out; meanwhile, we investigate the number of past encounters with the organization, the number of alternatives, customer satisfaction and the revisiting intention by explaining the scenarios.Through the empirical analysis, we can find that:Customers will not visit again if they are not satisfied with the service. However, according to this paper, although the customers are not satisfied, revisiting is also likely to happen under the influence of the number of alternatives and the numbers of past encounters with the organization. On the basis of the result of empirical analysis, the revisiting intention of unsatisfied customers will be substantially high if they believe that there are not many service suppliers who could be alternatives in the market or the number of past encounters with the same organizations is very high. That means, establishing good relationship with customers is very important as well as advertising for service organizations. Therefore, the importance of the number of past encounters with the organization which is the element of relationships has been proved in this paper.
