The East Asia region with China-Japan-South Korea as the core has promoted the recovery and developments of regional trade in Asia. The trade division among China-Japan-South Korea constitutes an important link in Regional Value Chain (RVC) of Asia. Based on this, this paper firstly compared Global Value Chain (GVC) with RVC, and summaries the definitions and measurement methods of concepts related to GVC and RVC. Then, from the three dimensions of Asia, East Asia and China-Japan-South Korea, we analyzed the main characteristics of Asian RVC structure. It is found that under the external shocks such as COVID-19, the process of Economic Globalization has been stalled, but GVC shows that the trend of regionalization is obviously strengthening, especially the position of East Asia in Asian Trade Value Chain has been deepening, and China-Japan-South Korea have been deeply embedded in it. In particular, China is becoming more central. Finally, the paper also analyzes the future development trend of Asian RVC.
