We have prepared reverse-mode polymer dispersed liquid crystal cells (R-PDLC) with homogeneous and twisted namatic orientation based on a nematic LC and a small amount of reactive mesogen (RM) which show a transparent off-state and a light scattering on-state. In this work, the mixture of a nematic LC and a RM was polymerized by irradiating with UV light under the voltage application. As a result, the driving voltage of the cells is reduced when the voltage of polymerization is 1.6V. Also, the cells show a light scattering off-state and a transparent on-state when the voltage of polymerization is 6.5V
