The metaverse is being discussed as an alternative to online education that does not provide important learning outcomes such as learning presence, immersion, interest and interaction. K-university has been operating courses using the metaverse since 2023. This study confirmed the difference in perception of learning presence, immersion, learning interest, interaction between professors-students, interaction between students-students in the class. and the understanding of the metaverse and overall satisfaction with the class were confirmed. In addition, verified whether there was a difference in perception between the major and the grade. As a result of statistics, positive answers were higher than negative answers in all factors and there were statistically significant differences in perception of learning commitment and understanding of the metaverse by grade. There were differences in perception of learning interest, interaction between students, understanding of the metaverse, and class satisfaction by major. This study emphasized the necessity of learning the metaverse step by step, using the metaverse considering the major field, and using the metaverse as a tool for students to participate in learning.
