The theory of national literature of the Korean Writers Alliance claimed a national literature but it opposed the nationalism which claim the primordial or perennial nation. Contrariwise, it focused on the inflection point which a nationality recognize itself as a nation. In this sense, nation is not a specific community which gain its identity by differentiate itself from the others, but the signifiant represent the universal experience it gets when it pass a specific historical stage.
