Current study conducted to verify the significant relationships among high performance work system(HPWS) and job satisfaction by applying JDR Model as perceived by JeJu luxury hotel employees. A questionnaire survey with pretest was completed from F&B/culinary employees. Total 420 questionnaire were distributed to employees of 5-star hotels in Jeju, and total 370 samples were regarded as effective for statistical analysis. To verify the hypotheses, a statistical programs SPSS 23.0 and Amos 23.0. was used for frequency analysis, descriptive analysis, factor analysis, reliability test. In order to examine the conceptual validity of the measurement items, a confirmatory factor analysis was performed, and SEM was conducted to identify the formulated model. The results are as followed. First, the ability development and motivation factors of HPWS have a significant effect on job demand. Second, all the HPWS factors have a significant effects on job resources. Third, job demand has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Last, job resources has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Based on these research results, meaningful implications were suggested for luxury hotels that are experiencing various difficulties related to human resources.
