The purpose of this study is to define the concept of e-Taekwondo based on VR, AR, and MR and suggest ways to utilize eTaekwondo. The approach to eTaekwondo started from the perspective of broadly encompassing Metaverse's technology, that is, as an immersive, realistic digital sport that interacts in VR, AR, and MR. This study is summarized as follows. First, the concept of eTaekwondo based on virtual reality can be said to be a realistic Taekwondo that is fun to experience in the process of interaction where Taekwondo skills, which are the abilities of physical activities, are demonstrated and applied in the space of virtual reality. Second, the concept of eTaekwondo based on augmented reality can be said to be responsible for acquiring and analyzing information about various technologies with a sense of realism and immersion through the interaction of digital devices related to Taekwondo competitions. Third, the concept of eTaekwondo based on mixed reality can be said to play the role of sense and self-development by analyzing and utilizing the relationship between Taekwondo strategy and tactics through the interaction of augmented reality and virtual reality. Therefore, it is expected that through this study, we will be able to continuously receive useful value and new information about Taekwondo competitions in an eTaekwondo environment.
