The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of food nutrition labeling and consumer satisfaction with care food HMR selection attributes. To this end, a survey was conducted from February 16, 2023 to June 11, 2023 targeting adult consumers aged 20 or older in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon who had experience purchasing Care Food HMR. Out of a total of 247 questionnaires, a total of 240 questionnaires were empirically analyzed, excluding 7 questionnaires with insincere answers, and the results of the analysis are as follows. First, among the care food HMR selection attributes, taste, nutrition, convenience, diversity, and cost-effectiveness, ‘nutrition component’ and ‘cost-performance ratio’ showed a significant positive (+) effect on the recognition of food nutrition labeling. Second, among the HMR selection attributes of care food, 'nutritive ingredients' and 'convenience' and 'diversity' showed a significant positive (+) effect on satisfaction. Third, 'Food Nutrition Label Recognition' showed a significant positive (+) effect on 'Satisfaction'. The results of this study provide basic knowledge for the growth of the Care Food HMR food market, and are considered to be useful information for companies aware of the importance of food nutrition labeling.
