This study aims to examine AI-based personalized HSK education through Learn Chinese and Super Test and to propose features and limitations of AI-based Chinese education. AIBE personalized HSK education is conducted in the following order: First, AI diagnostic testing and customized training recommendations, second, learning and evaluation, and third, learning data provision and management. Even though the AI-based HSK education platform was very advanced, there were also limitations such as result-oriented learning, mechanical repetition-oriented learning, and high fatigue learning. AI-based Chinese education has many advantages and disadvantages but what is clear is that research in each field to overcome current limitations is continuing and in the future the area where technology can replace human teachers will gradually expand. Human instructors need to make the most of the advantages of machines and on the other hand, they need to think about what is a more important role as instructors and continue related research.
