[Purpose] Through the Rasch model of the Item Response Theory(IRT), the aim is to develop the service quality of Chinese golf courses as a measure that can be applied to Korean golfers. [Method] A Korean golfer who has experienced golf travel abroad was selected as a population. Data were collected from 232 pre-tests and 350 test-listed members of the outdoor golf practice sites in the Seoul, Metropolitan Area, Chungcheong, and Gangbuk areas. The analysis was performed using SPSS 18.0, AMOS 18.0, and WINSTEP programs. [Result] The service quality scale of the Chinese golf course was composed of 29 question of 5 factors, but the final 5 factor of 22 question appeared to be suitable for Korean golfers, with the exception of the items which showed problems of goodness of fit, item response category, and structural model. [Conclusion] To inducement Korean golfers to Chinese golf courses, data must be collected using a 22-item scale. This will give you more objective and more efficient results than using other measurement scale.
