〈Han Kyung Sa 漢京詞〉 is a long poetry with 106 stanzas where Joongam Kang Ichun portrays the scenary of Seoul in late 1800s. describes the various lives of Seoul, and it showcases the influence that his view of literature had on the creation of the poem. Additionally, readers can see the changes in human life as time goes by. Joongam believed that human beings live changing and finite life, and if they seek origin and permanence, than it can only be achieved through literature. The character, introduced at the end of the poetry in a state of deep anxiety when thinking about the finiteness of humanity, reflects the emotional foundation of the poet. Joongam, by creating based on his view of literature and human beings, intended to truthfully convey the image of Seoul and the lives within it at the time.
