This study aims to investigate the global effects of experiencing Hallyu cultural contents on Chinese consumers who are are acutely exposed to diffusion of Hallyu. We also investigated whether SNS-based WOM about experience of Hallyu contents influences purchase intention as well as visit intention. As a result, we found that experiencing cultural contents which are into music, food, drama, movie, cosmetics had a significant impact on two dependent variables, with cosmetics exhibiting the greatest impact. Also, Korea’s country image was found to exert impact on the outcome variables. What is more, cultural experiences partially influenced SNS-based WOM, and network traits (bridging vs. bonding) moderated the relationship between cultural experiences and SNS-based WOM. Finally, SNS WOM positively influenced outcome variables.
