In this research, the common factors of architectural design drawings (50EA) were extracted from a total of fifteen medium/small and large scale design offices in Korea and the other countries to deduce required information standards for drawing and twelve writing standards from Korean Institute of Registered Architects, Korean Institute of Architects and other related institutes were compared and analyzed. Based on the study above mentioned, standards are deduced into two categories - architectural object elements and 2D - architectural object elements. Furthermore, a survey was performed on a public hearing for people in charge of building administration permission, architects and related experts in the field to increase the effectiveness and objectivity of the proposed standards in this research. In the survey, there was a review for how to write BIM based architectural design drawing that is proposed with the required information standards and for its suitability and effectiveness in building administration permission process. Conclusively, it is expected that this research will help increase work-efficiency and design quality in the field.
