The Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI) technique is easy to be implemented in positioning systems. However, the noise influences accuracy significantly. A weighted circular algorithm (WCA) incorporated with Genetic Algorithms (GA) is proposed to reduce the positioning errors. The simulation and experimental results confirm the enhancement of positioning error reduction.
