This study mainly takes apples as the research object, and uses near-infrared spectroscopy as the means to establish the relationship model between the reflected light and sugar content of apples. The objective is to implement the optical detection concept to achieve non-destructive fruit sugar content detection using cellphones. This technique increases the speed of detection, lowers the cost of detection, and effectively supports the management of fruits both before and after production.
