In recent years, the energy situation has been changing at a dizzying pace. In particular, renewable energies are attracting attention in Japan and abroad, and research and development is being conducted on a daily basis toward the realization of a decarbonized society. However, the amount of electricity generated by distributed power sources using renewable energies is extremely unstable, and in addition to adjusting supply and demand by centralized power sources and thermal power generation, it is necessary to adjust electricity demand at the customer side. Therefore, peak shaving is expected to be an option for controlling electricity demand. Demand response is one of the means to implement peak shaving. For this purpose, it is necessary to accurately understand the characteristics of electricity consumption at consumers. In this paper, we focus on air-conditioning equipment, which is considered to have large energy consumption in homes and offices, and use regression equations to examine the relationship between the energy consumption of air-conditioning equipment and outdoor temperature.
