Conventional WPT systems suffer from angular misalignment of the receiver position. This paper proposed metasurface-inspired resonator which can generate rotational magnetic field. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed transmitter can achieve WPT efficiency of 68% and it remains almost constant for any rotational angle of the receiver. This result paves the way for potential applications in consumer electronics.
