Thick film resistors are widely used as general components in modern electronic information products. Due to their structural characteristics and the thick film process of silver electrodes used, they are susceptible to the effects of sulfur or sulfide in the environment, resulting in increased resistance values or even failure. In this paper, we use the current market claim of "anti-sulfuration resistor products" as the research object, conduct anti-sulfuration performance testing and evaluation. Herein, the structural analysis for products with good anti-sulfuration performance were conducted, and the structural characteristics of anti-sulfuration resistor products were summarized. The experimental results show that by extending the design size of the secondary protection cladding layer is the current anti-sulfuration measure of the mainstream anti-sulfuration products. Moreover, the resistance value change rate of most anti-sulfuration resistors under the dry sulfur environment (105 C/1000h) is satisfied, which meets the potential application requirements of the severe sulfur environment.
