Perovskite solar cells have attracted attention as promising next-generation photovoltaics. The light-absorbing metal halide ABX3 perovskite layer can be fabricated by solution process at low temperature, which allows us to fabricate lightweight and flexible devices. We have developed efficient perovskite solar cells based on our material and device design concepts. In this presentation, we will introduce our research progress made on tin-containing perovskite solar cells and our approaches toward the commercialization of solar cell devices.
