This thesis considers the field of high frequency 5G technology as the main subject of its study. After years of development in many countries, the downlink speed of 5G networks in the low and medium frequency bands has been able to meet the needs of most consumers and 5G industries, but for some industries with particularly high demand for uplink bandwidth, the uplink capacity of 5G networks in the low and medium frequency bands is still insufficient. In the research and development of 5G wireless communication technology, high frequency band transmission technology is not only one of the key technologies, but also an important development direction, and high frequency and high density communication will become the primary means in the future. This seems to be a question worth studying for the research value and application scenarios of high frequency 5G. This paper will introduce the technical specifications of high frequency 5G, the limitations of high frequency 5G technology and the conception of a large scale video surveillance system based on high frequency 5G design.
