A flexible skin temperature monitoring patch was designed and developed using additive manufacturing techniques of printed electronics (PE) and flexible hybrid electronics (FHE). The patch was fabricated to be 8 cm x 3 cm and attached to the skin using a medical grade adhesive. A custom Android application was developed to read the skin temperature and alert the user if out of the normal range. User evaluation was conducted to verify proper functionality of the fabricated device and to determine the optimal locations for patch placement on the skin surface.
