Based on observed data from the network of long-running ionospheric observation sites, we analyzed the ionospheric effect of D-layer and F-layer about the Eclipse on May 12, 2012 within China. The results indicated that the ionospheric effect is more obvious at middle and low latitudes. The critical frequency of F2-layer(foF2) in QingDao and XinXiang stations is higher than referenced value, and the hight of F2-layer bottom is raised, the observed data (foF2) in GuangZhou station showed obvious photochemical effect, that is “Sunrise delay”.
