Currently, State Grid Hunan Electric Power Company has basically realized the comprehensive information collection of power grid operation control and user electricity metering, and continuously promoted the construction of information perception of distribution network operation control, major power grid equipment status, power grid physical asset and user service. With the widespread deployment of ubiquitous power IoT, the problems in the construction, application, operation, and maintenance of the perception layer are increasingly prominent. This paper provides a comprehensive summary of currently available perception devices, as well as a comprehensive overview of the perception layer for typical scenarios in power supply, transmission, substation, and distribution, and proposes a perception layer architecture for differentiated application scenarios.
