In order to improve fault tolerance and reliability of power grid, node importance of weighted power grid is evaluated based on node deletion method. The IEEE-24 system is simulated, and the corresponding program is written by MATLAB to calculate the ratio of the average weighted path length of nodes. Finally, it is proved that this method is more accurate to evaluate the dynamic security of power grid.
