To address the problem that the fixed threshold setting of SPMA protocol (Statistical Priority-based Multiple Access protocol) decreases the throughput when the load changes and the message collision is serious when the high load condition. Combining the existing research on the threshold value of SPMA protocol, we analyze the relationship between transmission success rate and transmission load amount and improve the sending judgment mechanism to send data with a different probability according to the load status. Experiments prove that the proposed method substantially improves the system throughput and the transmission success rate of messages of each priority level.
