Intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) is a potential and innovative technology that can adjust the phase shift to reflect the signal and create additional links for transmission. In this work, we consider the IRS-assisted multiple user millimeter wave system with finite-resolution digital-to-analog converters. Based on the additional additive quantization noise model, the weighted sum-rate is maximized by designing the active beamforming and passive beamforming with power constraint and unit-modulus constraint. The closed-form solutions are achieved iteratively via alternating optimization approach. The proposed algorithm is effective even with significant quantization, which is validated by simulation results.
