This paper has studied an important issue in DC minigrid control which can be connected to AC side grid forming converter. The issue addresses here related to bus voltage control under variable condition since system is highly non-linear in nature and linear control theory is ineffective in global stability analysis. Passivity based nonlinear controller is designed to overcome the non-affinity of the DC side voltage control by low-gain global regulation to tackle DC bus under solar energy variations and DC side load variation. The minigrid topology is unique in nature considering converter-less battery energy storage along of photovoltaic system. Global set point regulation study is carried out after modeling coupled dynamical equations of a system. The effectiveness is checked via simulation by changing illumination and load current
